Amazing! I really love it! Do you use Photoshop or Painter? I ask this because I've never achieved those strokes as if it was oil painting using Photoshop. I usually do rough digital paintings and achieve kind of a painterly feeling but not like these strokes, which seem to have depth. Keep up the good work!
i did this sketch with both painter and photoshop painter is the best to simulate traditional paint. just pick the oils and start painting. id recomment it for you. i just looked through your gallery and i can ensure you that you would love painter....
i personally dont like it that much. its way too expensive and its annoying how hot it gets when you paint with it for a bit longer. then again you need to wear a glove to not smear on the screen and make it dirty. get yourself an intuos4 i say! and well practicing makes you draw better , not a cintiq
the last part is totally true, but i have a very cheap wacom tablet now, and i totally fail at drawing straight lines and precision work, so i thought, maybe it wel be less dificult if i see my drawings on the tablet itself
what does cheap mean? you should have told me which size it has. at home i got that old intuos2 6x8 inches and im still painting my images with it. of course a it is the best case to have a wacom which is the same size as your screen. just give it more time. everything needs practice.
i bought the comic yesterday! awesome sketchy style going on in there!
i know what you mean! that particular brown he uses.....and the moody poses... so damn awesome stuff i bet its the roughness and that dark amosphere! alltogehter with sexy chicks and MORE robots hehe that must be the trick xD
